**Part Time** Companion/Caregiver
Job Overview
We are looking for a cheerful, enthusiastic, and compassionate individual to join our team in providing exceptional care to our valued clients in their homes and various facilities. If you are ready to make a difference in the lives of seniors by being a compassionate and dedicated individual, we want you on our team! We are currently hiring in Hood, Parker, Erath, and Somervell counties in Texas. This is for all hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Assist with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, and other activities as needed
- Monitor and report changes in clients’ conditions by communicating to family via Axis Care mobile app.
- Provide companionship and support to enhance client’s quality of life
- Perform light housekeeping, meal preparation, and errands
- Remind client to take medication and stay hydrated when appropriate
- Possess the ability to provide positive, compassionate, and ethical care
Qualifications and Requirements:
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license and current auto insurance if needing to drive client
- Excellent observation, verbal and written communication skills, and problem-solving skills
- Must possess the ability to work with disabled, elderly, and varying temperaments of client with compassion and patience
- Ability to work independently
- Prior experience in a healthcare setting preferred
