About the Role
Option to Success Family Services (OTSFS) is seeking a highly organized, trauma-informed Program Director to oversee the non-clinical daily operations of our RISE Campus and Residential Programs. This role ensures program flow, family engagement, staff coordination, community partnerships, and audit-ready documentation across departments.
This is a leadership position for someone who thrives in fast-paced youth-serving environments and is passionate about strengthening programs and staff culture.
Key Responsibilities
1. Program Operations (Non-Clinical)
- Coordinate the daily operational flow of RISE Campus and Residential programs
- Ensure policies, procedures, and expectations are implemented consistently
- Monitor documentation for timeliness and compliance (non-clinical)
- Support shift coverage planning and cross-team communication
- Lead weekly program coordination meetings
2. Family & Client Planning (Non-Clinical)
Serve as the central point of coordination for:
- Admissions
- Orientation
- Family engagement and scheduling
- Visitation coordination
- Progress check-ins
- Program transitions and discharges
- Keep families informed in a supportive, trauma-informed manner
- Organize family workshops and support activities
3. Partnership Development & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain community partnerships, including:
– Workforce development organizations
– Colleges and educational partners
– Healthcare and mental health providers
– Community and faith-based organizations
- Schedule on-site workshops, life-skills classes, and engagement events
- Represent RISE at community meetings, advisory boards, and collaborations
4. Staff Coordination & Support (Non-Clinical)
- Provide leadership and support to Program Coordinators, IL staff, CSAs, and support roles
- Strengthen communication across teams, supervisors, and leadership
- Support staff onboarding, training coordination, and accountability (with COO & Residential Supervisor)
- Maintain trauma-informed, culturally responsive expectations
5. Reporting & Data Tracking
- Submit weekly reports to the COO
- Track KPIs related to engagement, occupancy, family involvement, and youth progress
- Monitor incident trends, attendance, and service delivery flow
- Maintain audit-ready program documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Services, Human Services, Leadership, or related field
– Master’s degree preferred
- 3 years of leadership experience in youth programs, residential care, case management, or housing programs
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and coordination skills
- Experience working with diverse populations and trauma-informed care models
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, teams, and shifting priorities
