Key Responsibilities
- Produce daily P&L and risk reports; analyze drivers of changes and communicate results to traders and management.
- Monitor and explain exposure across various regional portfolios.
- Ensure accurate trade capture, reconciliation, and lifecycle maintenance.
- Enhance reporting, risk models, and processes through automation and system improvements.
- Deliver ad-hoc analysis to support commercial decisions.
- Collaborate across functions and global offices to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- On-site presence in Houston is required.
- Degree in a quantitative discipline (Finance, Economics, Engineering, Math, or related field).
- Strong numeracy, problem-solving, and analytical ability.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with SQL, Python, or VBA is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of risk metrics (VaR, Greeks, stress testing) and valuation methodologies a plus.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
- Professional demeanor with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across teams.
- Demonstrated interest in commodities (especially energy) and/or financial markets.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition, adaptability, and strong work ethic.
