The Commercial Operations Specialist is responsible for coordinating the client’s offtake and sales of LNG and Heavy Hydrocarbon (HHC) cargoes, while ensuring accurate record keeping of contracts and transactions associated with the client’s LNG value chain. This position interfaces with both internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the duties outlined below for The Client and its affiliate companies
Key Accountabilities:
LNG Offtake Operations
The following skills, knowledge, qualifications, and experience are required to meet the performance expectations of the role. Prior experience in international trade cargo scheduling (e.g., crude oil), marine operations, or natural gas scheduling is preferred.

LNG Offtake Operations
- Develop and manage Annual Programs (AP) and Ninety Day Schedules (NDS) for LNG cargo liftings in coordination with Singapore/London affiliates, Cameron LNG, and other Tollers.
- Manage schedule changes, cargo nominations, and operational adjustments, including urgent/emergency support as needed.
- Track LNG volumes, storage inventory, fuel, flare, and LAUF positions; maintain inventory forecasts and operational models.
- Ensure contractual compliance through notices, analyses, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Participate in regular operational meetings and resolve scheduling or operational disputes with affiliates, operators, and Tollers.
- Support Force Majeure response and other exceptional operational events.
- Coordinate HHC production, allocation, nominations, lifting schedules, and inventory management with CLNG and Tollers.
- Support credit exposure management and payment safeguards with Finance and Accounting teams.
- Support long-term HHC offtake and sales sustainability initiatives.
- Monitor vessel scheduling, arrivals, documentation, and terminal compliance requirements.
- Coordinate vessel vetting, compatibility studies, nominations, cargo documentation, and surveyor reports.
- Maintain cargo loading records, calculate demurrage, and participate in on-call duty rotations.
- Maintain LNG and HHC transactions, forecasts, contracts, and fees within the ETRM system.
- Update actual cargo quantities, create operational deals, and troubleshoot system issues.
- Maintain operational records, document repositories, close-out processes, and daily data/reporting workflows.
- Support Emergency Response and Business Continuity planning.
- Coordinate information flow and stakeholder communications.
- Ensure timely AES filings and compliance with DOE, FERC, and LNG import license reporting requirements.
