Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise carpentry crews, assigning tasks and ensuring timely project progress
- Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute projects
- Perform advanced framing, metal building erection, and metal stud framing with precision
- Manage plastering, and stucco application to meet project specifications
- Oversee masonry work, siding, drywall hanging, trim carpentry, and woodworking tasks
- Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely while maintaining proper maintenance records
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards
Skills
- Extensive experience in construction management and site supervision
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical schematics
- Strong knowledge of metal building erection, framing techniques (including dimensional measurements), and drywall installation
- Skilled in concrete forming, rebar installation, concrete finishing, masonry, plastering and stucco work
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Excellent understanding of basic math for measurements and calculations on-site
- Experience with roofing, siding installation, restoration projects, remodeling work and woodwork
- Knowledge of schematics for electrical or mechanical systems related to construction projects
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks regularly
- Demonstrated leadership skills in managing construction teams and coordinating multiple trades
