Responsibilities
- Conduct outside sales activities to identify prospective clients and grow the customer base through proactive outreach and community networking
- Assess client needs thoroughly to recommend appropriate insurance products that ensure comprehensive coverage and satisfaction
- Negotiate policy terms and premiums, balancing client needs with company guidelines to reach mutually beneficial agreements
- Handle sales administration tasks including processing applications, updating records, and maintaining accurate client files
- Promote insurance products across multiple channels using targeted marketing strategies to drive brand awareness and lead generation
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries promptly, explaining policy details clearly, and guiding clients through the sales process
- Collaborate with team members on benefits administration and ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including HIPAA, when handling sensitive client information
- Educate clients on insurance options, benefits, and coverage in a clear, approachable manner
- Attend virtual and in-person trainings to develop product knowledge and system proficiency
Qualifications
No prior experience is required — we welcome motivated individuals from all backgrounds. The following are beneficial but not mandatory:
- Background in outside sales, retail, or customer-facing roles
- Familiarity with lead generation, telemarketing, or marketing strategies
- Experience in sales administration or benefits administration
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and handling confidential information
