What are the responsibilities and job description for the Nurse or Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy position at Optimum Internal Medicine and Pediatrics?
Looking for a Medical Assistant (Experience a Must!!) that can multitask and is a self motivated and caring medical assistant. We are a busy Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Rural Clinic and provide care to all age groups. Must be able to: Draw Blood, Give Injections, Give Vaccinations to Children, Perform Vital Signs, Aid with procedure setup, Do in office Rapid testing such as Strep/Flu/Urinalysis/Etc..., aid with referrals and prescriptions and a bonus would be a limited Xray License to perform Xrays in office.

Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm. Pay will be based on experience and ability but will offer between $15 to $24 per hour based on experience.
Summary
As a Medical Assistant with Phlebotomy, you will be integral to delivering high-quality patient care and administrative support within a healthcare setting. Reporting to the supervising physician or clinic manager, you will utilize your core skills in medical terminology, patient service, and EHR systems to assist in patient intake and vital signs assessment. Your expertise in X-Ray certification and knowledge of urgent care will enhance our team's ability to provide comprehensive medical services.
