Content Specialist

Optimum Building is seeking a Content Specialist who will create content in all sorts of formats, for the full customer journey and for the different channels/platforms to position Optimum as the leader in Health and Wellness. Collaborating with internal teams, you will build content that will align with our SEO strategy and marketing campaigns to drive traffic to our website, encourage engagement and convert to customers. Working from concept to completion, the ideal candidate has excellent time management, communication, and actively contributes to the goals of the Marketing Sales team.

Job Description

• Create Compelling Content (i.e., whitepapers, blogs, guides, infographics, case studies, webinars and training documents, press releases).
• Write and proofread short- and long-form copy for marketing, advertising, and social media purposes. Create product-oriented content for product releases, use cases, testimonials, demos, guides etc. to drive interest in our product and capture demand.
• Follow market trends that align with health and wellness, keep a close eye on competitors and stay one step ahead in terms of our own content strategy, execution, and analysis.
• Research industry-related topics - Combining online sources, interviews and studies, competitors and other industry players to stay up to date.
• Incorporate keyword research and use SEO guidelines to make sure your content is SEO optimized.
• Collaborate with senior management to align projects with the organization's strategic objectives, identifying key deliverables and milestones. 
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including departments like marketing, operations, IT, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution and alignment with various stakeholders. 
• Lead, monitor and track project progress, providing regular updates to senior management and stakeholders. Manage project resources, and timelines, adjusting as necessary to ensure successful project outcomes. 
• Foster effective communication and collaboration among team members and stakeholders to ensure project success. 
• Evaluate project performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing corrective actions as needed. Proactively identify project risks and develop mitigation strategies.  
• Provide outstanding customer service to internal and external audiences. 
• This role may assume additional responsibilities to support needs within the verticals or at a corporate level. 
• Other duties as business needs arise and as leadership prioritizes. 

Experience and Requirements

• Strong project management experience, with a proven portfolio of copywrites and editing. 
• Ability to think strategically, align projects with organizational goals, and make decisions that contribute to overall business success. 
• Strong storytelling capabilities and creativity.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Attention to excellence in relationship management with both internal and external customers. 
• Flexibility and adaptability to work in dynamic environments and manage projects across multiple verticals or key initiatives. 
• Highly motivated, action-oriented self-starter with strong organizational skills, especially planning and coordination. 
• Demonstrated experience planning and managing large and small high-quality events. 
• Hospitality experience is highly valued.
