Optimum Healthcare IT is looking for recent college graduates with an interest in moving into the Healthcare IT Industry. Our Optimum CareerPath training program will equip you with the tools needed for your success as an Epic Trainer.
Position Summary
As an Epic Credentialed Trainer in the Optimum CareerPath program, you will help support end-user training and system readiness for Epic implementations and ongoing optimization
Responsibilities
Responsibilities may vary based on client needs, Epic applications, and project scope
- Deliver Epic end-user training, assessments, and support for assigned applications
- Assist Principal Trainers with the development, creation, and modification of training materials, lesson plans, and tip sheets
- Shadow and round with end users to evaluate training effectiveness and provide feedback for improvement
- Maintain Epic credentialed status and demonstrate the ability to train across multiple applications independently
- Communicate effectively and professionally while consistently upholding excellent customer service standards
- Manage assigned tasks to meet project deliverables and escalate issues impacting timelines or readiness
- Multitask across several training-related assignments and adapt quickly to changing project needs
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource on assigned training topics and share expertise with other team members
- Apply adult learning principles to create clear, engaging, and effective training experiences
- Participate in revisions of training content and delivery methods based on user feedback and workflow changes
- Support the onboarding and credentialing of new Trainers, providing guidance and mentorship as needed
- Perform other duties as assigned to support project success and training readiness
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Strong communication, facilitation, and presentation skills
Ability to learn complex systems quickly and explain technical concepts clearly
Passion for teaching, problem-solving, and supporting healthcare teams
Experience with Epic or healthcare operations is a plus, but not required
