Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide specialized, patient-centered care for individuals with mental health disorders and support their overall well-being.
Duties
- Conduct psychiatric evaluations and assessments
- Develop individualized care plans tailored to each patient
- Prescribe and manage medications and treatments
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and other healthcare professionals
- Provide education and support to patients and their families
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN)
- Valid Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) certification
- Valid APRN license in the state of practice
- Minimum two years of experience as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and evidence-based treatment modalities
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Experience working with diverse patient populations, including adolescents and older adults
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with EHR documentation, e-prescribing, and billing
- Familiarity with acute care and/or primary care settings
Pay: $2,000.00 - $4,000.00 per month
