What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wideformat Digital Printer Technician position at Optimum Digital USA?
Optimum Digital USA is a leader in wideformat digital printer solutions for textiles, carpets and signage printing. We recently set up a new office in Marietta and are seeking qualified candidates to join our quickly growing team. We are looking for a junior technician with a desire to learn about digital printing and to support running our showroom, as well as onsite installations and technical service as part of our quick expansion in the area. Industry training and specific machinery training will be provided to all candidates.
What you will do:
· Executing and assisting with the production of wideformat sample prints
· Learning to operate and troubleshoot wideformat printers
· Learning about digital file asset management
· Operating and Maintaining RIP software and devices
· Support onsite installation of wideformat printers
· Support onsite technical service of wideformat printers
What we are looking for:
· 1-2 years experience in a technical field (preferred)
· Able to communicate and work in a team setting with another field tech.
· Strong organizational skills
· Strong problem-solving abilities
· An interest in learning about digital printing machinery
