Job Responsibilities:
- Reconciles balance sheet and income statement accounts to the general ledger and sub-ledger.
- Prepares bank reconciliations
- Manage month-end close activities, meeting deadlines
- Prepares and enters journal entries into the general ledger.
- Assist with year-end audit, including balance sheet reconciliation.
- Reconcile GL accounts for the month, quarterly, and year-end.
- Prepare month-end and year-end accruals.
- Responsible for preparing timely ad-hoc financial reports and analysis for insurance, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- Participate in and support cleaning data projects involving aged items, ensuring accurate system records.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years in similar roles and balance sheet reconciliation.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Experience with ERP/ Accounting Systems.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Compensation:
- Salary: $75,000 to $85,000
