Manufacturing Specialist

We are seeking Manufacturing Specialists to perform tasks relating to the production of small metal parts, including but not limited to sorting, placing, drilling, reaming, CNCing & inspections.

Essential Functions:

• Performs visual and dimensional inspections of parts, looking for defects, by using microscopes and various gaging instruments, such as gages and calipers.
• Uses a variety of finger and hand-controlled machines including impact, air, drill, and ream presses, computer numerical control machines (CNC), pad printers, and gage stampers.
• Places parts into various machines for the machine to perform its function; removes parts from various machines and places them into totes.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide.
• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Mechanical Aptitude preferred.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit & demonstrate manual dexterity (100% of the time).
• Uses stepstools and ladders (10%).
• Talk, hear and see (100%).
• Specific vision requirements of this job include close vision, depth perception & ability to adjust focus (100%).
• Microscope inspections (30%).
• Ability to lift and/or move up to ten (10) pounds (90%) - lift and/or move up to twenty-five (25) pounds (10%).

Wage: $17.01
