Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Foreman to oversee and coordinate complex projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget. This role requires proficiency with construction management software and a strong understanding of blueprints, schematics, and construction estimating. The Project Manager will lead teams, manage contracts, and uphold quality control standards across multiple projects, including pipelines and heavy civil works.
Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise construction projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and safety standards.
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to coordinate resources effectively.
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide construction activities.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes to ensure compliance and cost control.
- Oversee site safety protocols in accordance with OSHA regulations and conduct regular safety inspections.
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to facilitate smooth project execution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets specified standards and project specifications.
- Monitor project progress through site visits; supervise field teams including supervising experience in managing personnel on-site.
- Prepare and review project documentation including budgets, estimates, schedules, and reports.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, HeavyBid for project tracking and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations; manage risk mitigation strategies throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in managing large-scale projects such as pipelines or heavy civil infrastructure.
- Proficiency with Primavera P6, Primavera P3, HeavyBid, Bluebeam, ProCore or similar construction management software.
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA safety standards and site safety protocols.
- Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, construction estimating, budgeting, and contract administration.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with excellent organizational skills.
- Supervising experience with a track record of leading diverse teams on construction sites.
- Familiarity with construction site experience including quality control procedures and use of tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating between stakeholders at all levels of the project lifecycle.
