We are seeking a friendly, organized, and dedicated Chiropractic Assistant/Receptionist to join our dynamic team at Optimal Wellness. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our office runs smoothly and efficiently, providing excellent customer service to our patients, and supporting our chiropractors with clinical tasks.
Key Responsibilities
Reception Duties:
- Greet patients warmly and make them feel welcome
- Manage the front desk, including answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and handling patient inquiries
- Verify and update patient information and insurance details
- Process payments and manage billing and insurance claims
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
Clinical Assistance:
- Assist chiropractors with patient preparation, such as setting up rooms and equipment
- Setting up patients on therapeutic modalities such as electric muscle stimulation, ultrasound, traction, spinal decompression therapy and shockwave therapy.
- Perform administrative tasks related to patient care, including maintaining patient records and documentation
- Ensure treatment rooms are clean, sanitized, and well-stocked
- Educate patients about exercises, therapies, and post-treatment care as instructed by the chiropractor
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certifications in healthcare or administration is a plus
- Previous experience in a medical or chiropractic office preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and handle a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in using office software (e.g., MS Office, electronic health record systems)
- Basic knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
