Position Overview:
We are seeking a Central Scheduler to join our administrative team. This role is crucial to ensure seamless appointment scheduling across our 12 clinics and deliver outstanding customer service to patients. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Schedule patient appointments across multiple clinic locations via phone, email, and online requests.
- Manage and optimize provider schedules to ensure efficiency and patient flow.
- Confirm and reschedule appointments as needed while minimizing gaps in the schedule.
- Verify patient insurance information and eligibility prior to scheduling.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns.
- Collaborate with clinic staff to accommodate urgent scheduling needs.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in the scheduling system.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- Prior experience in medical scheduling, customer service, or a related field (experience in physical therapy or rehabilitation is a plus).
- Proficiency in Google Platforms and electronic health records (EHR)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
