Position Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Medical Assistant who enjoys working in a holistic health setting. This role is ideal for someone who loves connecting with patients, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is excited to grow with a clinic long-term.
Responsibilities:
- Perform IM and subcutaneous injections (B12, vitamin therapies, etc.)
- Assist provider with patient visits and procedures
- Room patients, obtain vitals, and document in EMR
- Answer phones, schedule appointments, and respond to patient inquiries
- Manage patient flow and ensure a smooth clinic experience
- Draw labs, specimen preparation, and coordination
- Maintain inventory of medical supplies and assist with ordering
- Assist with IV therapy setup (if trained or willing to learn)
- Support patient education and follow-up communication
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional clinic environment
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (preferred but not required with experience)
- Experience with injections and/or phlebotomy necessary
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Interest in holistic, functional, or wellness-based care
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinic
- Dependable, positive attitude, and team-oriented mindset
