About the Role
You will be responsible for managing a continuous requisition load of 10-12 open positions. Key duties include sourcing candidates through job postings, job boards, internet research, social media, employee referrals, and networking events. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, highly organized, and possess excellent analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills. You should also excel at building relationships and interacting with various stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Always manage a continuous requisition load of 10-12 open positions.
- The role involves sourcing, screening, and securing top talent while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Source candidates using job postings, job boards, social media, internet research, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Post job openings on traditional and non-traditional platforms, including industry-specific boards and social media.
- Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in the applicant tracking system, including candidate searches, interactions, and recruitment activities.
- Conduct technical screenings and present qualified candidates for client-assigned roles.
- Prepare candidates for interviews, extend job offers, and oversee the onboarding process.
- Ensure all recruitment activities comply with applicable regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Perform background checks and drug screenings as per client standards (e.g., Ford Motors, General Motors, Stellantis, Hyundai KIA Motors and more).
- Participate in career fairs and develop strategies to attract and engage talent from targeted industries, companies, and communities.
- Build and maintain candidate pipelines, leveraging the applicant tracking system to support awareness, goal setting, and accountability.
- Conduct reference checks for in-house hires.
- Provide support for other recruitment-related tasks as assigned.
Qualifications / Required Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience in mid- to large-sized organizations.
- 1-2 years of experience in automotive engineering recruitment required.
- 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment.
- Proficient in MS Office, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), LinkedIn Recruiter, and other online recruitment methods.
- Understanding and identifying the company's engineering recruitment needs and requirements.
- Use job boards, social networks, and other professional platforms to attract prospective candidates.
- Conduct initial interviews to assess applicant's technical knowledge, soft skills and cultural fit.
- Coordinate interview process with engineering hiring managers.
- Stay up to date on current recruiting methods and industry trends.
- Provide regular updates and feedback to hiring managers.
- Negotiating job offers and onboarding new hires.
- Maintaining a database of potential future candidates.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and results driven.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources or a related field.
