Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Athletic Trainer to join our Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for athletics, health and fitness, along with the ability to inspire and motivate athletes to participate in injury prevention programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct initial assessments of injuries and initiate appropriate referral plans.
- Lead individual or group training sessions, ensuring proper form and technique.
- On field assessment of athletes before, during, and after injuries.
- Educate clients on the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Maintain a clean and safe training environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in athletic training, fitness, nutrition, and wellness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of athletic training techniques and methodologies.
- Proficient understanding of physiology, anatomy, body mechanics, and medical terminology.
- Experience in health coaching and sports medicine is a plus.
- Ability to create tailored rehabilitation programs that meet diverse client needs.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients from various backgrounds.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the fitness industry.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
