We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to provide exceptional outpatient care coverage during a scheduled vacation period in Boone, North Carolina from April 1 through April 24, longer is optional. This role offers an exciting opportunity to apply your expertise in orthopedic physical therapy, discharge planning, and one in on, patient-centered care. If you like to have autonomy in setting your schedule and don’t mind working alone then this is the perfect job! There is an opportunity to continue past April if desired. Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by developing and implementing individualized care plans tailored to orthopedics.
- Conduct thorough assessments utilizing physiology and anatomy knowledge to inform treatment strategies.
- Provide appropriate treatments to promote recovery and pain management.
- Document daily treatment SOAP notes.
- Engage in patient education, emphasizing self-care strategies and community resources to support ongoing recovery.
Requirements
- Valid licensure as a licensed Physical Therapist with current registration in North Carolina or eligible for licensure reciprocity.
- Proven experience in orthopedics.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy.
- Demonstrated expertise in orthopedics preferred.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to work independently.
