Optimae is currently accepting applications for a full time Residential Coordinator in our Ottumwa office. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with proven experience in the planning and implementation of ID/BI waiver and Habilitation services.
The position of Residential Coordinator was created to provide capable team leaders with more automy and responsibility. The purpose of this position is to lessen the daily responsibilities of the Service Coordinator, which allows the Residential Coordinator to oversee more sites. The duties of the Residential Coordinator are based on three areas: coordination of the site, having a supervisory role, and coordination of customer care.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure the site is clean and equipped with all needed supplies. Report concerns at weekly meetings
- Make sure staff have all needed material to do their job effectively
- Responsible for dispersing team schedules and finding replacements for shifts that need to be covered
- Make sure that the customers have all their medications and all other medical forms. Check each morning to ensure that all the site team members are sigining off when monitoring medication administration.
- Schedule team meeting with the Service Coordinator
- Be available to answer all team member questions
- Train new team members and conduct individual specific training and complete on boarding forms.
- Provide direct customer services as needed
- Keep medication information sheet and physician visit forms updated
- Residential Coordinators will carry the On-Call phone as part of the office rotation
