We're looking for an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who can work independently, manage complex endocrine conditions, and deliver high-quality care from assessment through ongoing treatment.

This is a hands-on APP role where you'll have the opportunity to manage patients with a high level of independence while collaborating with an interdisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities include:
- Perform comprehensive histories and physical examinations
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic testing
- Develop diagnoses and treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage medications
- Monitor treatment response and adjust therapies
- Provide ongoing endocrine care
- Complete consultations and progress notes
- Coordinate specialist referrals
- Educate patients and families regarding disease processes and treatment
- Provide preventive care counseling
- Recognize and respond to urgent clinical situations
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals
- Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
- Active Connecticut PA or APRN license
- Connecticut Controlled Substance Registration
- DEA registration
- American Heart Association BLS
- NCCPA certification for PA candidates, as applicable
- Strong independent clinical decision-making skills
- 1 year of Endocrinology or Endocrine Neoplasia APP experience preferred
