Structural Welder/Fitter

Location: Sherwood, Oregon

Compensation: $25-$29/hr. DOE

Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

A Local manufacturing company that engineers, fabricates, and constructs equipment for the farming and logging industry for the last 45 years is looking to hire! This company is proud to buy and make all of its products in the United States. They are a complete process taking in material and performing everything from CNC machining, welding, and assembly.

What You’ll Do:

This is a Welder/Fabricator role where you will be challenged to fit and fabricate. This is NOT a production role where you will lay the same bead every day. You will be working on large machines for the logging and farm industry. These require knowledge of thick mild steel.

What You Need to Have:

• 2 years of experience MIG welding on thick materials
• Must be able to read blueprints and welding symbols
• Fitting & layout experience
• Proficient with running .052 wire and welding on thick metals up to 3" thick
• Ability to pas a medical exam/fit test
• Familiarity with Jib or Overheard Cranes & rigging
