Pay: $90k - $120k Benefits

We’re seeking a Senior Assurance Associate to join a respected Anchorage-based CPA firm known for its precision, professionalism, and strong client relationships. Their team supports a wide range of industries and provides high-level audit, tax, and advisory services across Alaska. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Lead audit and assurance engagements from planning through completion, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency
• Supervise and mentor staff accountants, providing training and review of work papers
• Conduct risk assessments and assist in developing tailored audit programs
• Prepare financial statements and supporting documentation in accordance with GAAP
• Research and resolve complex accounting and reporting issues
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through professionalism, communication, and reliable service
• Collaborate with partners and managers to improve processes, maintain quality control, and support firm-wide initiatives
  
  

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• Active CPA license or progress toward licensure
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in public accounting with audit or assurance focus
• Strong technical understanding of GAAP, GAAS, and financial reporting standards
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with audit software and Microsoft Office Suite
