Location: Tualatin, OR

Shift: Day shift: 6am - 2:30pm | Swing shift: 2:15pm - 10:45pm

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00/hr

Who We Are:

Our client is a precision sheet metal manufacturing and engineering company. They specialize in providing high-quality sheet metal fabrication, engineering solutions, and integrated assembly services to meet a wide range of customer needs.

What You’ll Do:

This entry-level, bonus-eligible position plays a key role in supporting all phases of the fabrication process. You’ll rotate through multiple work centers, assisting with machine operations, part preparation, assembly, and finishing tasks. This is a hands-on opportunity to learn a variety of metal fabrication techniques in a clean, safety-focused, and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in operating work centers that have been pre-set until competencies are developed.
• Rotate through various departments such as Shear, Deburr, Hardware, Tap/Drill/Countersink, CNC Punch, Forming, and Assembly.
• Perform basic material handling tasks like loading/unloading baskets and racks.
• Support deburring, grinding, and finishing processes to achieve cosmetic-grade results.
• Follow all safety guidelines, PPE requirements, and company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks safely.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure production efficiency and quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
  
  

Qualifications:

• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Strong hand-eye coordination and mechanical aptitude.
• Desire and willingness to learn new manufacturing processes.
• Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
• Blueprint reading experience is a plus.
• Dependable, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing setting is helpful but not required.
