Compensation: $24-30/hr. DOE
Hours: Monday - Friday 6am-2:30pm

This company is proud to buy and make all of its products in the United States. They are a complete process taking in material and performing everything from CNC machining, welding, and assembly.
What You'll Do:
As a manual machinist you will be working with primarily mills and lathes operating manual process machines, using tools to fabricate, and inspecting parts for defects post machining.

- Proven experience as machinist with Mills or Lathes experience (2 years preferred)
- Strong understanding or RPM's
- Understanding feeds & speeds
- Experience with carbide insert selections
- Ability maintain coolant and fluids for machines
- Experience in using and/or programming manual, semi-automated or automated tools and machines (lathes, mills, grinders etc.)
- Ability to use precision tools (e.g. calipers) to take accurate measurements
- Knowledge of the properties of metal and other material, mainly mild steel
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals (We are old-school, so anyone who can interpret a set-up sheet will be gold)
- Good at math with analytical abilities
- Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy items (we have overhead cranes for anything over 50 lbs.)
