This role works closely with executive leadership and plays a critical role in financial planning, risk management, and long term sustainability.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Oversee all accounting operations including AP, AR, payroll, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage budgeting, forecasting, cash flow projections, and cost accounting
- Ensure accurate and timely federal, state, and local tax filings
- Lead financial audits and act as primary liaison with external auditors
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls and financial compliance standards
- Oversee benefits audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Partner with revenue cycle teams to optimize collections and reduce denials
- Supervise, mentor, and develop finance team members
- Advise leadership on financial performance, risks, and operational trends
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPA, CMA, or Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 5 years of progressive accounting or financial management experience
- Healthcare industry experience strongly preferred
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and compliance standards
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- High attention to detail with the ability to operate strategically
