What are the responsibilities and job description for the EH&S Technician position at OpTech LLC?
THIS IS A W2 CONTRACT OPPORTUNITY
18 MO CONTRACT
MAX RATE: $30HR NO PER DIEM
- Shares responsibility for the implementation of the EH and S management system, in order to meet business objectives and to maintain the license to operate.
- Provides hands-on environmental activities for a specific plant.
- Requires broadened technical skills in analytical scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities.
- May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Responsibilities Duties
Implements detailed, task level, day to day environmental programs, utilizing the EHandS work process, standards and procedures.
Acts as the Plant resource for related environmental information on procedures, guidelines and standards.
Serves as plant contact for Environmental issues.
Coaches teams and individuals on environmental related tasks and activities.
Assists in developing and achieving area or plant EHandS goals.
Ensures compliance tasks are completed.
Performs coordinates certain Environmental data collection, analyzing and reporting for the Plant.
Experience
Completion of Short-Cycle Tertiary Degree (i.e. Associate's Degree) in related field plus EHandS, manufacturing or other related experience preferred. In lieu of degree, equivalent years of experience required.
