Role Description
This contract role of Independent Sales Agent is a hybrid position based in Indiana, with opportunities to work from home as needed. In this role, you will focus on building and managing client relationships, introducing Optavise’s benefits solutions to businesses, and demonstrating the value of products and services. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting for new clients, conducting sales presentations, and collaborating with employers to customize benefits packages. As a brand ambassador for Optavise, you will contribute to improving employee benefits engagement while driving measurable outcomes for employers.
Qualifications
- Proven sales and business development skills (preferred but not mandatory) including client prospecting and relationship management
- There is A TON of on the job training and peer collaboration!
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Understanding of benefits administration and voluntary benefits is a plus
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with the ability to work independently
- Prior experience in a sales or agent role, particularly within the benefits industry, is advantageous
- Access to a reliable internet connection and ability to work remotely when required
