Weekend RN Supervisor – Four Seasons Nursing Care Center
Position Overview
Four Seasons Nursing Care Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Weekend RN Supervisor to join our leadership team. This role is essential in ensuring high‑quality resident care, smooth clinical operations, and strong support for nursing staff during weekend shifts. The RN Supervisor serves as the on‑site clinical leader, promoting excellence in care delivery and fostering a positive, collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Clinical Leadership
Provide direct supervision and guidance to nursing staff, including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs.
Oversee all clinical operations during weekend shifts to ensure compliance with facility policies, state regulations, and best practices.
Conduct rounds to monitor resident status, identify care needs, and ensure timely interventions.
Serve as the primary clinical decision-maker in urgent or emergent situations.
Resident Care
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for residents as needed.
Support staff in managing complex clinical situations and changes in resident condition.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and facility standards.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Staff Coordination
Assign and adjust staff duties to maintain appropriate coverage and workflow.
Provide coaching, mentoring, and real-time problem-solving for nursing staff.
Assist with onboarding and training of new team members as needed.
Regulatory & Quality Assurance
Ensure adherence to infection control protocols, safety standards, and quality measures.
Participate in incident reporting, follow-up, and corrective action planning.
Maintain a high level of professionalism and uphold the mission and values of Four Seasons Nursing Care Center.
Qualifications
Current RN license in the state of practice, in good standing.
Minimum of 1–2 years of nursing experience in long-term care or a related setting.
Previous supervisory or charge nurse experience strongly preferred.
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team with confidence, compassion, and professionalism.
Reliable, self-directed, and able to manage multiple priorities during weekend shifts.
Schedule
Weekend position (Saturday and Sunday)
