Position Summary
The Activity Assistant supports the planning, organization, and implementation of engaging recreational, social, educational, and therapeutic activities that enhance the physical, emotional, cognitive, and spiritual well-being of residents. Working under the direction of the Activity Director, this role helps create meaningful experiences that promote resident independence, dignity, and quality of life while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations.

What You'll Do
- Plan and assist with fun group and one-on-one activities.
- Lead games, crafts, music, exercise, and special events.
- Encourage resident participation while respecting individual interests and abilities.
- Help decorate for holidays and facility celebrations.
- Escort residents to and from activities safely.
- Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
- Assist with community outings and entertainment.
- Document resident participation and communicate observations with the care team.

Schedule
