Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Office Manager role based in Tampa, FL. The Office Manager oversees daily front and back office operations, including scheduling, patient intake, records management, and coordination of office workflows. Responsibilities include supervising administrative staff, managing office supplies and equipment, and ensuring the reception area and workspaces are organized and welcoming. The role also involves handling patient and vendor inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and maintaining clear communication with clinical staff and leadership. The Office Manager monitors office processes for compliance with practice policies, supports billing and documentation tasks as needed, and contributes to continuous improvement of administrative procedures.
Qualifications
- Strong Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with patients, staff, and external partners.
- Proficiency in Office Administration and Administrative Assistance, including scheduling, records management, and workflow coordination.
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard Office Equipment such as printers, scanners, phone systems, and related technology.
- Experience in a medical or healthcare office setting, including familiarity with patient confidentiality and basic healthcare terminology, is preferred.
- Demonstrated organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfort with basic computer applications and practice management or electronic health record (EHR) systems, or willingness to learn.
