Duties
- Monitor premises continuously using CCTV systems and conduct regular surveillance patrols to detect suspicious activity or security breaches
- Enforce access control procedures by verifying identities and authorizations for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors
- Respond promptly to emergencies or incidents, providing first aid or CPR when necessary and coordinating with law enforcement or emergency responders
- Conduct thorough inspections of individuals and property to prevent theft, vandalism, or unauthorized access
- Manage conflict situations with professionalism and tact, de-escalating disputes and ensuring safety for all parties involved
- Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and security records accurately and promptly
- Implement loss prevention strategies by observing behaviors that may indicate theft or misconduct
Skills
- Proven experience in security operations, law enforcement, military service, or related fields with a focus on safety and protection
- Strong surveillance skills with proficiency in CCTV monitoring systems
- Knowledge of conflict management techniques and the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Certified in first aid, CPR, and emergency response procedures
- Familiarity with security protocols, access control systems, and loss prevention methods
- Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public
- Ability to handle sensitive situations discreetly while enforcing rules firmly
