What are the responsibilities and job description for the On Call - Dance Instructor - Category 10 position at Opry Entertainment Group & Ryman Hospitality Properties?
Create a fun, musical, and entertaining environment while leading dance instructions for guests in a multi-experiential live music venue, bar and restaurant. Ensure seamless quality of entertainment and guest engagement in both on- and off-site events. Model teamwork, service and integrity to foster a positive and productive work environment. Work with a team to deliver exceptional service to guests through unforgettable experiences.
- Interact with guests at all times, including dancing through band/musician sets and mingling.
- Perform dances and teach line dance lessons to guests. Announce bands/artists.
- Distribute flyers outside of building to promote events and venue.
- Work closely with technical production team on coordination of music.
- Keep disc jockey (DJ) booth clean and free of food, drinks and trash.
- Maintain knowledge of current dance trends, country music artists, and new line dance choreography.
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for artists, clients, employees, etc., ensuring that all codes, laws, regulations, and emergency procedures are followed.
- Ensure that all equipment is used safely and in accordance with proper industry standards. Notify leadership of equipment malfunction or safety hazards immediately.
- Communicate and uphold all corporate standards, guidelines, policies and procedures in accordance with local, state and federal laws and regulations. Maintain personal integrity by abiding by and supporting the values and principles of the company. Follow and support brand SOPs.

Qualifications:
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience
- Entertainment or teaching experience required
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
- Working knowledge of choreography and technical audio platforms is required
- Ability to interface with management and clients
- Ability to engage audience in a fun, upbeat and professional manner
- Ability to teach various dances styles from beginner to advanced levels
- Interest and passion for entertainment, music, and dancing
