Truck Driver

Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating a box truck. This role involves delivering freight efficiently while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies. Candidates should possess strong driving skills, experience with different truck types, and the ability to load and unload cargo as needed. Responsibilities

• Safely operate a variety of commercial trucks including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, and roll-off trucks.
• Load and unload freight using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
• Plan and follow efficient delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules or issues.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies during operations.

Experience

• Proven experience driving commercial vehicles.
• Experience with route driving and delivery logistics is highly desirable.
• Prior experience in freight transportation including load & unload operations is advantageous.
• Knowledge of safety regulations related to trucking and cargo handling is essential.

Pay: $1, $1,500.00 per week
