Job Summary:We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Embroidery/Uniform Sales Associate to join our team. This role requires excellent customer service, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage various customization projects, merchandising tasks, and vendor-related responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.Key Responsibilities:Customer Service & Sales:Consistently demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism.Meet and exceed all departmental and individual sales and service goals.Maintain a friendly, helpful, and productive attitude with all associates and customers.Communicate and share essential information with team members and management.Follow store and departmental policies and procedures.Consistently maintain and upgrade knowledge and skill levels.Assist in all areas of the store as directed by management.Merchandising & Inventory Management:Daily merchandising, stocking, signage, and maintenance of assigned areas.Maintain in-depth knowledge of products and customer needs within assigned areas.Customization Responsibilities:Embroidery:Complete in-house embroidery projects accurately and within the required due dates.Maintain embroidery logs and keep records up to date daily.Ensure all embroidery supplies are stocked and maintained.Perform routine embroidery machine maintenance and coordinate with the Uniform Manager for extensive repairs.Maintain an organized and neat embroidery workspace.Update embroidery specification sheets and maintain the binder for reference.Customization Orders:Coordinate outside customization services such as screen printing, heat press, and embroidery.Save digital specs by agency for easy reference in the Crescent Files.Create pricing for outside customization based on service type and quantity.Generate quotes and purchase orders for customization projects.Follow up on estimated arrival times (ETA) for all outside customization orders and keep customers informed.Academy Coordination:Prepare and update paperwork packets for upcoming academies (e.g., MJC Fire Delta Academy).Communicate necessary academy details to staff and associates.Train associates on academy paperwork specifications and procedures.Coordinate with the inventory manager regarding stock needs and key academy dates.Pre-check packages for tailoring, verify completed packages, and notify customers.Vendor & Inventory Management:Sanmar Vendor Management:Oversee communication and order processing through the orders email account.Manage customer orders, inquiries, and follow-ups.Handle account management for key clients, including Oak Valley, Stan CO SO, Tuolumne CO SO, and AMR.Process DLA orders and ensure accuracy in fulfillment.YMS Order Processing:Create and verify purchase orders for outgoing YMS shipments.Ensure items sent are correct, including first initials, sizes, and quantities.Prepare orders for scheduled transfers (Mon/Wed) and follow up on pending POs exceeding two weeks.Maintain and update paper logs and make new sheets available for staff.YMS Incoming Orders:Verify that completed orders are picked up on transfer days.Inspect garments to ensure correct printing and log received items.Match garments with correct packages and notify customers when orders are ready.Organize completed items on the alterations pick-up rack as needed.Qualifications:Prior experience in retail, customer service, or sales preferred.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to multitask and manage various projects simultaneously.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn internal systems.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.If you are a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for customer service and customization, we encourage you to apply!
