MANAGER- RESIDENTIAL- (2) FT Positions responsible for overseeing daily operations within a residential program, ensuring a safe, supportive and well managed environment for staff and the individuals we serve. This role coordinates staff, services, and resources to promote individuals with disabilities and the enhancement of their quality of life and program compliance. Bachelor’s degree in social services with two years related work experience or four years experience working with individuals with disabilities and two years supervisory experience, strong written and communication skills, and Intermediate computer skills prefered. $28.00/hr.

Position Summary: Responsibilities (Essential job functions in bold)
- Evaluates the individuals served strengths, needs and level of risk.
- Completes or delegates assessments, individualized planning and skill training and behavioral acceleration/deceleration programs, including recording data.
- Observes home and staff with daily completion of tasks, revise training programs to improve the indvidual performance if needed.
- Provides support to individuals served with Activiites of Daily Living (ADL) at least 25% of scheduled time weekly.
- Assist individuals in arranging for outings and providing opportunities for community integration and inclusion.
- Ensure homes are orderly and well kept inside/outside. Submit any concerns or issues in the Data Management System as needed.
- Ensure transportation of individuals in service is safely provided and assist when needed.
- Complete the menu planning and shopping, and preparation of meals with individuals served.
- Assist individuals served in the self administration of medication, documents and assures that medications are taken. Perform monthly audits.
- Completes incident reports for events that affect the health and safety of individuals served within required timeline.
- Review/Monitor all progress notes and Incident Reports in the Data Management System to ensure the health and safety of the individuals served.
- Ensures the implementation of the individuals Plan of Care. Request for amendment and adjustments as needed.
- Maintains all individuals served records and reports as required by policy in the Data Management System.
- Assist individuals served in investigating and acquiring resources which facilitate and/or enhances their independence and quality of life.
- Locates and provides adaptive devices when needed.
- Communicates effectively individuals needs/choices to staff, parents, guardians, advocates and other agencies.
- Respond timely and appropriately to crisis situations.
- Use positive supports when handling behaviorial incidents.
- Provides follow-up services and documents as required.
- Provide open positions to the Director to facilitate staffing.
- Coordinates, orientates, trains, supervises and evaluates staff in their delivery of services to individuals served.
- Ensure staff untilize appropriate techniques and are compliant with Corporate policy, Plan of Care and State and/or Federal regulations (licensing).
- Refers recommendations for disciplinary actions to Director/Human Resource Director.
- Completes performance evaluations according to approved procedures and within established timeframes.
- Conducts and document all staff meetings on a monthly basis and as needed to set direction, define expectations, disseminate information, and answer staff questions/concerns.
- Assures adequate staffing.
- Review and approve time-off requests based on staffing requirements and current workloads.
- Ensure/Monitor on an ongoing basis that staff are current on required training.
- Maintains awareness of individuals served rights and enforces these rights.
- Oversee the operation of services to support the health, safety, cleanliness and comfort of the individuals served, and cleanliness and condition of the individuals home, its furnishings and equipment, including the provision of necessary and appropriate supplies(including medical) and equipment for individuals served and staff.

- Documents accurately work performed on Paycom and submit in a timely manner.
- Documents in Data Management Systems accurately and in a timely manner.
- Safeguards and keeps confidential all Private and Personal Information regarding individuals with disabilities received in the course of their employment by the Corporation.
- Practice safe work habits and follow all safety regulations and company procedures.
- Maintain strict confidentiality.
Qualifications:
- Prefer bachelor’s degree in social services with two years related work experience or four years experience working with individuals with disabilities and two years supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong written and communication skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- No record of abuse, neglect or exploitation of others.
- Must have a valid Montana Drivers License, and an acceptable driving record.
Special Conditions
- Physical effort is required to perform the following: lift of physically assist individuals in daily activities; carry supplies; perform household cleaning and move furniture. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. In addition, standing, walking and bending are required. Both indoor and outdoor activites are required.
- Exposure to unpleasant sights, sounds or odors and physical aggression may be encountered.
- Exposure to communicable diseases and other conditions.
- Scheduling requires flexibility, requiring altering of scheduled hours or days off on a regular or temporary basis, as necessary.
