We’re seeking a dependable and energetic Part-Time General Manager to oversee daily operations of our nonprofit thrift store. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys retail, values community impact, and can lead a team in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Recruit, train, and supervise volunteers
- Manage inventory, merchandising, pricing, and weekly sales
- Oversee daily operations (cash handling, POS, shift management)
- Promote the store and increase community engagement
- Ensure compliance with store policies and safety standards
Qualifications
- Supervisory experience in retail or nonprofit settings
- Strong organization, communication, and multitasking skills
- Experience with volunteer coordination and team leadership
- Comfortable with cash handling and basic retail math
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and proactive
Schedule & Pay
- $17.00/hour (starting pay)
- Thursdays: 12 PM – 4 PM
- Fridays: 9 AM – 4 PM
- Monthly board meeting attendance required
