What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRN DSP Supervisor position at Opportunity Homes, Inc.?
We are seeking dependable, motivated PRN Supervisors who are passionate about supporting individuals in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) community. This role is PRN (as needed) with the goal to transition into full-time or part-time employment if and when a position becomes available.
As a PRN Supervisor, you will provide leadership and oversight to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), ensuring quality care, smooth shift operations, and compliance with agency policies.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and support staff during assigned shifts
- Ensure quality care and safety for individuals served
- Administer medications according to training and policy
- Support scheduling needs by covering open shifts across all shifts (day, afternoon, midnight)
- Maintain documentation and follow agency protocols
- Serve as a role model for teamwork, professionalism, and communication
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Medication Administration certification required (must maintain active status) We provide the training if you do not have it.
- Prior supervisory experience required
- Experience in the Developmental Disabilities (DD) community strongly preferred
- CPR certification preferred (can be trained within the company if not currently certified)
- Ability to be flexible with scheduling needs (PRN – as needed basis)
- Strong communication and leadership skills
