Seeking Controls Engineers with PLC programming, troubleshooting, Controls Design and/or Leadership experience for several permanent positions currently available in the Grand Rapids, Holland, Muskegon and Kalamazoo areas. All these permanent positions offer a variety of exciting projects in the controls automation industry for reputable and growing companies. Opportunities range from entry level to Lead Controls and Engineering Manager roles. Most jobs require minimal travel.

Responsibilities:
- Provide electrical solutions for automation, process, assembly, or material handling equipment.
- Design and program PLC and HMI software to meet requirements.
- Programming, troubleshooting, and modifying automation machines, robotics, and vision systems.
- Assist with start-up and technical support.
- Project Engineer comprehensive systems from start to finish.
Requirements:
- Bachelors of Electrical Engineering (BSEE) degree or Associate's degree preferred, but not required with relevant experience.
- Experience programming PLCs and HMIs.
- Allen Bradley and Siemens experience preferred.
- Experience with programming and integrating robotics, vision systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics is a plus. SCADA, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks Electrical experience also a plus.
- Able to work independently as well as within a team.
- Close attention to detail and accuracy.
- Must be a US Citizen or have a Green Card.
Compensation and Benefits for the Controls Engineer positions:
- $70,000.00 to $140,000.00 / year depending on experience level
