XXVII. DESCRIPTION
A. Purpose and Scope of Position
Work with families to assist them in carrying out priorities/outcomes, criteria, and age-appropriate activities within the child’s natural environment and daily routines as indicated by the child’s IFSP.
B. Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
- Provides early intervention services to children in caseload by providing families with activities, techniques, support material/services, play strategies, developmental toys and equipment in their natural environment during daily routines that assist with meeting the needs identified on the IFSP while developing and maintaining the paperwork required to meet compliance standards for each assigned case as mandated; uses web based information system (THERAP); advocates for and empowers family as a unit; and advocates for the child.
- THERAP proficiencies, including but not limited to S-Comms.
- Facilitates all required meetings for all children on caseload (IFSP, 6 month review, family assessment, child assessment, 2.7-2.9 transition, Dr. staffing) in conjunction with monitoring monthly services due and informing team members of progress/concerns.
- Collaborates with related service delivery systems, IFSP team members, and community agencies to provide a coordinated service plan; obtains release of information from all related service providers; demonstrates teamwork in all actions.

XXVIII. REQUIREMENTS
W. Education and Training
Bachelor’s degree in required field per ND Early Intervention personnel standards
Valid Licensure by State of North Dakota in professional ares of expertise.
X. Technical
Physically able to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Y. Experience
Competent in general development of children birth to 3 years.
Use of computer.

Qualifications:Must be licensed in the State of ND for Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Speech Language Pathologist, Early Childhood Special Education, License Social Worker, Registered Nurse to apply.
