JOB HIGHLIGHTS
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year work experience with individuals and/or children with disabilities required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge in the modifications, adaptation, and use of specialized equipment
General knowledge of computer use and programs required
Responsibilities:
Ability to support individuals to live independently in their community
Work as a mentor and build relationships with individuals to assist them to connect to their community
Ability to support individuals with daily activities needed to live independently. This can include, but is not limited to cleaning, cooking, laundry, medication support, bill paying and personal care support
Ability to develop community relationships that fosters connections between the person supported and community organizations (volunteer or join a club for example)
Ability to make decisions and work independently
This position requires a company email address which requires an application to be downloaded on your personal cell phone for multi-factor authentication (MFA) to ensure cyber security.
