UCT is looking for a talented Onsite Fab Logistics Technician to join us in Northwest Phoenix!
As an on-site technician, this individual serves as a visible ambassador of UCT, maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, communication, and conduct while working side‑by‑side with customer personnel in a fast‑paced fab environment.

Primary Work Location (Customer Site):
Northwest Phoenix — near the I‑17 and Loop 303 interchange
Required Training Location (First Week):
East Phoenix — near 40th Street and University Drive
Candidates must be willing and able to commute to both locations as required.
Duties and Responsibilities

Support UCT operations onsite at a customer facility by coordinating shipping, receiving, and material flow activities.

Track and manage incoming UCT materials delivered to the customer dock; ensure items are correctly routed into appropriate internal queues for pickup and processing (non‑physical receiving role).

Coordinate multiple crates, kits, and part movements, ensuring accuracy of documentation, labeling, and routing.

Maintain accurate data across internal systems, including open order reports, schedules, and tracking logs.

Ensure parts and kits are available, properly staged, and documented to support customer preventive maintenance activities.

Communicate professionally with customer personnel, logistics teams, and UCT internal stakeholders; navigate challenging interactions with composure and tact.

Represent UCT onsite by demonstrating professional appearance, respectful behavior, accountability, and adherence to customer site policies.

Utilize Excel, Microsoft Teams, and other systems to manage daily workflows and reports.

Identify material discrepancies, delays, or process issues and escalate appropriately.

Adapt to shifting priorities in a dynamic fab environment while maintaining attention to detail.

Follow all cleanroom, safety, and security protocols required by the customer site.

Perform other duties as assigned to support onsite operations.

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
Required
-
Experience in logistics, shipping/receiving coordination, warehouse flow, or material control in a manufacturing or technical environment.

Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microsoft Teams.

Ability to manage schedules, reports, and documentation with a high degree of accuracy.

Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills.
-
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
-
Professional communication skills and customer‑facing experience.
-
Comfort working in a cleanroom or controlled manufacturing environment.
Preferred
-
Semiconductor or high‑tech manufacturing experience.
-
Prior experience working onsite at a customer location.

Familiarity with inventory tracking or quality documentation systems.
Education and Requirements
-
Associate degree or higher in a technical, logistics, or business‑related field or
High school diploma with 2 years of relevant operations, logistics, or manufacturing support experience. -
Ability to pass required customer background and security screenings.

Reliable transportation and strong attendance reliability.
Work Environment
-
Work performed at a customer semiconductor facility in cleanroom and adjacent support areas.

Required to wear cleanroom garments and PPE including bunny suit, hood, booties, gloves, and safety glasses.

Frequent computer use and interaction with customer personnel.
-
Subject to frequent interruptions and changing priorities.
Physical Demands

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods during a shift.

Ability to push carts and move materials within the facility.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
