Lounge Bartender – 34° North Restaurant at the Beaufort Hotel
The 34° North Restaurant located inside the Beaufort Hotel is currently seeking an experienced and outgoing Lounge Bartender to join our Food & Beverage team. This position plays an important role in creating a welcoming and memorable experience for hotel guests and local visitors by providing exceptional service in a professional and upbeat environment.
We are looking for someone who enjoys interacting with guests, works efficiently in a fast-paced setting, and takes pride in delivering quality beverages and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and service standards
- Accept and complete drink orders from guests and servers in an organized and timely manner
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar throughout each shift
- Complete opening and closing duties including stocking, cleaning, and securing bar areas
- Follow all cash handling, check handling, and credit card procedures
- Ensure all alcohol service complies with company policies and applicable laws regarding identification and responsible alcohol service
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with stocking beer, liquor, mixers, juices, and supplies
- Replenish ice stations, glassware, and bar products as needed
- Maintain a friendly, professional, and team-oriented atmosphere
- Assist with maintaining cleanliness of floors, trash areas, and bar equipment
- Communicate effectively with restaurant staff and management to support smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous bartending experience required
- Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and liquor service
- Strong guest service and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and remain organized in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable attendance and positive attitude
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service practices
Compensation
- Estimated range is between $25 - $35 per hour (includes base pay and tips)
