Area Director of Revenue Strategy

Concord Hospitality is hiring an dynamic and experienced Area Director of Revenue Strategy to lead revenue optimization initiatives across our hotel portfolio. In this strategic leadership role, you will collaborate closely with Sales, eCommerce, and property teams to develop and execute revenue strategies that drive market share, profitability, and long-term performance.  This position requires Marriott and Hilton experience.

Responsibilities:

• Lead weekly sales strategy meetings using key brand and Concord revenue systems (e.g., One Yield, MRDW, MarRFP, Marsha, MarketVision, Hotelligence, OnQ R&I).
• Monitor segment-level performance and implement targeted initiatives to improve revenue in underperforming hotels.
• Develop and mentor a high-performing analyst team across multiple brand platforms.
• Conduct weekly 1:1 sessions with analysts to review hotel strategies and individual development plans.
• Ensure group and transient pace reports are integral to each hotel’s revenue process and strategic decision-making.
• Maintain forecast accuracy within a 5% variance and deliver forecasting training as needed.
• Execute displacement analyses for long-term group programs to maximize overall revenue.
• Support seasonal promotions and package creation in collaboration with community partners and hotel teams.
• Align hotel-level strategies with Regional Sales and eCommerce departments.
• Oversee brand RFP processes to ensure pricing and account strategies align with historical and forecasted trends.
• Analyze STR reports and compile documentation for hotels requiring performance improvement strategies.
• Ensure PMS data integrity, including segment tracking and package setup.
• Contribute to annual marketing plan development and ongoing strategy monitoring based on market trends and demand patterns.
• Maintain key strategy documentation and calendar content on Concord’s Intranet Sales page.
• Travel approximately 10% for property visits and on-site strategy support.

Qualifications:

• Extensive experience in revenue management across multiple hotel brands and systems.
• Proven ability to lead, develop, and motivate cross-functional analyst teams.
• Expertise in pricing strategies, market analysis, segmentation, and forecasting.
• Proficient in STR reporting, PMS platforms, and revenue management software.
• Exceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
