What You'll Do:
- Conduct thorough inspections of components and materials to ensure they meet quality specifications
- Identify defects and recommend corrective actions to production staff
- Maintain accurate records of inspection findings and communicate results to management
- Participate in root cause analysis for quality issues and implement preventive measures
- Verify that production processes comply with internal and external quality standards
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product reliability and quality
- Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality best practices
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical certifications in quality control preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good shop math skills
- Strong knowledge of quality standards and methodologies
- Problem solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, drawings, and specifications
- Proficient in using measuring tools and equipment such as calipers, gauges, and micrometers
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong problem-solving mindset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs. occasionally
