Registered Behavior Technician
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Job description:
OUI’s Moscow Children’s program is growing! We are looking for energetic, compassionate team-players, who want to make a difference in the lives of children with developmental disabilities and their families. You will assist children in learning self-regulation, communication, peer and community socialization, problem solving, play skills, task engagement, daily living skills, and much more!
Full-time or part-time positions are available.
The position requires travel to rural towns surrounding Moscow.
Responsibilities:
· Make therapy fun!
· Work 1:1 with children in home, school, or community setting
· Implement ABA-based treatment plans designed by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
· Respect participants’ rights and dignity.
· Show up for scheduled sessions.
· Implement interventions according to the plans.
· Maintain accurate data collection and session notes.
· Submit data and billing in a timely manner.
· Communicate with team members about participants’ progress and needs.
· Communicate with supervisor about needed training, materials, resources, or support.
· Attend and participate in mandatory team meetings and trainings,
· Maintain professional boundaries with participants and families,
· Maintain positive relationships and regular communication with other service providers, family members/advocates, school districts and community members.
Required qualifications:
· Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
· Experience working with children in ABA therapy, childcare, education, psychology, or a related field
Pay: $20.00 per hour
