What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Re-Entry Services position at Opportunities Industrialization Center of Oklahoma County, Inc. (OIC)?
Position Summary:
The Director of Re-Entry Services is responsible for designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive programs that support the successful reintegration of individuals returning from incarceration. This position will oversee service delivery, strengthen community partnerships, advocate for system-involved individuals, and ensure alignment with OIC’s mission to eliminate barriers to economic opportunity through education, training, and workforce development. Reports to the President/CEO.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Strategic Program Development
o Lead the development and execution of re-entry services, including case management, workforce
readiness, housing support, mental health referrals, legal aid access, and family reunification
strategies.
o Collaborate with internal teams to integrate re-entry programming into OIC’s broader workforce
and education initiatives.
• Leadership and Management
o Supervise re-entry program staff, including case managers, peer mentors, and support specialists.
o Provide staff training, coaching, and performance evaluation.
o Develop program goals, outcomes, and service delivery protocols.
• Community Partnerships and Advocacy
o Build and maintain partnerships with correctional institutions, community-based organizations,
parole/probation departments, employers, and housing providers.
o Represent OIC in re-entry coalitions, task forces, and advocacy efforts to improve policies
affecting returning citizens.
• Compliance, Data & Reporting
o Ensure compliance with all funding and reporting requirements.
o Oversee data collection, program evaluation, and continuous improvement efforts.
o Prepare reports for funders, board members, and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Public Administration, or related field required;
Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in re-entry, workforce development, human services, or a related field,
including 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role
