What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Tech 2 position at Opportunities?
We are hiring a Maintenance Technician!
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance and preventative upkeep on guest rooms and hotel facilities
- Respond promptly to guest service requests (e.g., fixing lights, plumbing issues, HVAC problems)
- Inspect rooms, hallways, and common areas to identify and address maintenance needs
- Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic mechanical systems
- Ensure all work meets safety standards and building codes
- Complete work orders and maintain maintenance logs/records
- Assist with room turns by ensuring everything is in proper working condition
- Maintain tools, equipment, and maintenance supplies
- Coordinate with housekeeping and front desk staff to prioritize repairs
- Handle basic painting, carpentry, and general upkeep tasks
