About the Position:
Opportune is seeking an Investment Banking Analyst Engineer that would work within a diverse team of energy professionals to support investment banking activities ranging from asset acquisition/divestitures, corporate mergers, and debt/equity capital market activities. Individual would work closely with engineers and finance professionals to generate, modify, and analyze company reserve databases to generate views on company and asset valuations. Must be able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while delivering high quality work products for the team.
Desired Skills & Experience:
- Petroleum Engineering undergraduate degree
- 2 years experience working for an oil and gas company or investment bank (A&D)
- Ability to work in fast pace, highly dynamic work environment
- Experience in reserve analysis software (Aries, PhDWin, ComboCurve)
- Proficient with industry standard platforms (Enverus, IHS, Spotfire, SQL / Access)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
